Trauma

When the past won't stay in the past

When the past still feels way too present

You’ve got a memory (or ten) that won’t leave you alone.

Maybe you don’t even call it “trauma”– you just know there’s stuff you avoid thinking about because when you do, it wrecks your whole day.

You keep it together at work, in your relationship, with your kids—but underneath, there’s this lingering anxiety, tension, or guilt you can’t quite shake.

You’re tired of pretending you’re fine when clearly... you’re not.

Our future endeavors

Our goal

Many of us have memberships to fancy fitness centers that help us keep our bodies conditioned. But what if there was a gym for your Mental Health? A place to learn to calm the mind. To open the body. To feel connected, free from stigma.

Our goal is to build that gym and change the way we think about mental health for good.

But we’re not quite there yet. This journey has only just begun.

promote mental wellness

Our vision

Our vision is to offer a wide range of services to promote mental wellness. We’re starting with one-on-one counseling, though endeavor to expand into other avenues as we help more and more people.

Some of these additional services may include guided meditation, expressive dance meditation, yoga, group therapy and float tanks.

We’re more than just a therapy practice. We want to be a one-stop “Gym” where everyone can recalibrate their mind and body.

What healing actually looks like

You stop rushing through the grocery store out of fear that something bad will happen.
You start trusting yourself—and other people—a little more.
Your body feels less tense. You stop avoiding stuff you used to love.
You breathe deeper. You sleep better. You feel more you.

Why work with me

I take a steady, respectful approach—drawing from trauma-informed practices like Prolonged Exposure Therapy, mindfulness, and IFT.

I’ve worked with clients processing everything from sudden violence to things they didn’t even realize were trauma until we unpacked them.

We’ll go at your pace, focus on safety, and actually make progress—not just circle the same story forever.

Who this type of therapy is for:

You keep avoiding a memory, but it still shows up
You’ve experienced something that left a mark
You feel on edge all the time and don’t know why
You feel disconnected from people, even the ones you love
You want to finally feel safe—in your body, your relationships, your life
